Implementation and integration
Supabase connected to your business operations
Build application data and identity services with explicit permissions, migrations and operational ownership. Operloom defines the delivery scope, connections, controls and handover to your team before production activation.
Tools and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Operloom is an independent service provider.
01Delivery scope
What we build with Supabase
Build application data and identity services with explicit permissions, migrations and operational ownership.
- PostgreSQL schema and access policies
- Authentication and application integration
- Storage boundaries and recovery procedures
02Connected workflow
From business requirement to working system
The Supabase project starts with an actual journey: what triggers the work, who is involved, which data is needed and what outcome is expected. We distinguish what the tool owns from what remains in the CRM, ERP or business application. The client retains ownership of accounts and the decision to activate the service.
- 01Define workflow inputs, outputs and responsible owners
- 02Inventory the accounts, licences and access actually available
- 03Check plan limitations before committing to an integration
03Data and integrations
Give every connection and data field an owner
A connection to Supabase needs a purpose, direction of truth and documented failure behaviour. Depending on the plan and available access, delivery can use an API, webhooks, a native connector or a controlled file transfer. We validate identifiers, volumes and update frequency against representative records before activation.
- Preserve provenance, status and reconciliation identifiers
- Limit shared fields to what the workflow requires
- Define how rejected records and interruptions are handled
04Implementation risk
Test the specific failure mode before activation
Test row-level security with real user roles and keep service-role credentials on trusted server paths.
- 01Reproduce the scenario with representative test data
- 02Document expected behaviour and rejection criteria
- 03Provide a controlled stop when the outcome cannot be confirmed
05Release and handover
A release your team can operate
Acceptance covers the complete journey and expected failures, followed by a limited activation before the scope expands. Handover includes useful configuration, data mapping, verification evidence and operating procedures. Later changes remain assigned to an owner and connected to a measurable objective.
- Scoped access, protected secrets and reviewable permissions
- Acceptance criteria, change history and documented recovery
- Error, cost and quality monitoring appropriate to the scope
- Training and explicit transfer of operational responsibility
Common questions
Question: Can you review how we currently use Supabase?
Yes. We review the actual scope, accounts, connections, data and responsibilities. For this guide, the initial checkpoints are postgresql schema and access policies, authentication and application integration, storage boundaries and recovery procedures. Recommendations distinguish necessary corrections from optional extensions.
Question: Do we need to replace our existing systems?
Replacement is not automatic. We prioritise a useful scope and clear responsibilities between systems. Available options depend on existing interfaces, licences, access and constraints. This guide does not imply paid access or a vendor partnership.
